I believe an educator must still be a student at heart. My love of teaching goes beyond my classroom. I enjoy collaborating and taking the time to work with teachers to refine their craft and challenge their students daily.
From working with teachers on my own campus to teachers across the district, I truly enjoy challenging others along with myself to stretch and explore new ways to engage our students in learning.

STAAR Preparation provided to teachers in Manor ISD to focus on building the connection between STAAR questions and reading passages with an emphasis on text evidence.
July 2019 - MOVE IT! Learning Strategies for Reading and Writing
Manor ISD training provided to teachers during MPACT to show teachers how to implement movement in their classrooms to enhance learning with an emphasis on reading and writing.
July 2019 - Vertical Alignment for English Language Arts 6-12
Manor ISD training provided to English Language Arts teachers during MPACT to share the importance and strategize ways to improve vertical alignment within the district.

Campus professional development provided to highlight how to use “framing the lesson” to engage students with an emphasis on AVID strategies.

Campus professional development with a focus on how to use interactive notebooks to engage students and build ongoing resources that support student independent learning.

District professional development provided to English Language Arts teachers to prepare for STAAR writing with an emphasis on writing strategies to build prior knowledge and paragraph development.
